Sesame Street digital invitation series for Paperless Post’s platform Flyer.
MY ROLE : art director, designer, illustrator, animator of stickers/backgrounds/type
Goal:
The goal of this project was to help grow Paperless Post’s kids birthday category, and help Sesame Street create fun and easy to use content for Paperless Post’s digital invitation platform Flyer.
Flyer Overview
Flyer is a digital tool that allows users to create and customize invites through, color, text effects, backgrounds, and animated stickers.
Color Palette
Color palette is pulled directly from Sesame Street’s most iconic characters.
Typography
Playful typography with light touches of animation, covering a range of typographic styles, that gives users more options for customization.
Animated Stickers Series
Sticker series was created from flatten assets within Sesame Street’s asset library that were redrawn and animated.
Backgrounds
Backgrounds range from characters specific to general entertaining. The Backgrounds are designed for users to easily customize the background by placing type and stickers on top of them.
Page Styles
Users can customize their invite’s info with different page style layouts, that come in a range of different colors.
Upload Your Own Background
Users can upload their own images as backgrounds. The animated stickers and type are designed to be easily editable for users to add these assets on top of their photos to create fun and dynamic compositions.
Send to friends
Flyer allows users to easily send invites over text messages. The square format also works well for sharing invites on other social media platforms.

Project Summary:
This project helped grow Paperless Post’s kids birthday category sales by more than 65%. This project also attracted a large number of new users to Flyer’s platforms.
This project helped grow a stronger partnership between Paperless Post and Sesame Street, proof by Sesame Street looking to build more into the Flyer platform in the future because quote “We’re impressed with the assets the Paperless Post team has created.”.
Most importantly users have enjoyed the new Sesame Street’s digital invite series and have given positive reviews on having more fun and easy to use content for their kid’s birthdays that both the parents and their children enjoy.
